From May 27 to July 16, an exhibition of paintings by the legendary artist and teacher Ryshard Antonovich May could be seen in the village workshop of the artist Laura Pavlova. 20 works of different periods, including recent years. Richard May
Belarusian painter, designer and teacher - was born on July 5, 1936 in the village of Oreshnica, Neasvizh district. A representative of the Belarusian underground, writes in the style of abstract expressionism.
His works are kept in the collections of the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus, the History Museum of Klechchyna, in the funds of the Zimmerly Art Museum (USA), in private collections of Belarus, Russia, Poland, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, France, Israel, the USA, Taiwan and other countries.
Since 1973 and for forty-seven years, Ryshard May has been the permanent head of a unique children's art studio. Her artistic experience is incredible - children's works not only compete with real adult painting, but often exceed it in all parameters of art. The works of the students of the studio regularly became diplomas and prize-winners of numerous national and international contests of children's creativity.
